Why SizorPro

What is different, and what it gets you

Most salon software is a diary with a bill attached. These are the things SizorPro does that the others do not, and why they matter at the counter and at month-end.

A database of its own for every salon

Each company gets its own SQL Server database the moment it is opened.

Benefit: your data is never in a table with another salon's; back it up, restore it or move it on its own; one salon's busy day never slows yours.

Commission that works itself out

Rules per service, category or retail - percent or fixed, company-wide or per stylist - snapshotted on every bill line, with monthly slabs and targets on top.

Benefit: the statement per stylist is ready on the 1st with nothing to compute by hand, and no argument about what was agreed.

Recipes that use stock up

A service lists the consumables it takes; billing it takes them out of stock at cost.

Benefit: you know the real profit of every service, not just its price, and the shelf count stays true without a stock-take.

Amend a bill without losing history

A bill can be changed in place; every earlier version is kept with a reason. Cancelling needs a manager's login.

Benefit: mistakes at the till are fixed in seconds, and the audit trail satisfies the accountant and the GST officer.

Print anywhere, three ways

Service bill, tax invoice or full bill - to a Bluetooth printer from the phone, to the counter printer through a small agent, or as a PDF.

Benefit: no printer driver drama; a ₹2,000 Bluetooth printer and a phone are a complete counter.

Batches and expiry per line

Purchases record batch number and expiry on each line; the expiry page walks stock first-expiry-first.

Benefit: nothing expires on the shelf unnoticed, and returns to the supplier have the batch to quote.

Rights per screen, per person

Roles carry view / add / edit / delete for every module; a receptionist, a stylist and an accountant see different things - on the web and in the app alike.

Benefit: staff use the till without seeing the profit, and one login serves both the phone and the computer.

Bookings with real clash checks

Hours, leave, breaks, skills, chairs and rooms, and clean-up buffers all refuse a bad booking - at the desk and on the public booking page.

Benefit: no double-booked chair, no customer arriving for a stylist on leave.

One audit log, written by the database

Every bill, discount, cancellation, price change, booking move, receipt and setting is logged by the procedure that made it.

Benefit: "who changed this and when" is one screen, and it cannot be skipped by any code path.

Item-level profit, not just sales

Reports show what each service and product earned after commission, consumables and cost - plus fast / slow / dead stock and days left.

Benefit: you see which services to push, which products to stop buying, and when to reorder.

WhatsApp by itself

Confirmations, reminders the day before and follow-ups the day after go out through your own WhatsApp Business number.

Benefit: fewer no-shows and repeat visits without anyone typing messages.

Delete-my-account, privacy and data safety built in

A public deletion form, a privacy policy written against what the software really stores, and no tracking or ad SDKs in the app.

Benefit: Play Store review and a customer's "remove my number" are both a two-minute job.

What it does

The day, in the order it happens

  1. Appointments

The day book by stylist. Walk-ins, phone bookings, confirmations and no-shows, and the queue at the front desk.

  2. Billing

Bill an appointment or a walk-in. Services and retail on one bill, the stylist against every line, discounts, GST, cash, card and UPI, reprints, and a history of every change.

  3. Customers

Phone, birthday, anniversary, what they usually have and who usually does it, and every visit they have ever made.

  4. Services and products

Categories, services with duration and a tax-inclusive price, and retail products with stock.

  5. Expenses and staff ledger

Expense heads, the day's outgoings, and each member of staff's salary, advances and commission.

  6. Reports

The daily sales register, collection by tender, each stylist's work and commission, the GST split, and expenses against sales.

Screens

The web application, screen by screen

Pick a screen. This is the real thing on a demo company, not a mock-up.

Online salon appointment booking page: choose a service with its price and duration, a stylist, a day and a free time slot
Online appointment booking - the salon's own page: the customer picks a service from the menu with its price and minutes, a stylist or anyone free, a day and a free time. The booking drops straight into the salon's appointment book.
The phone app

The counter in your pocket

SizorPro for Android does the day's work from the phone: the till with printing to a Bluetooth receipt printer, the appointment book, the customer card, stock purchases, expenses and the reports - with the same rights per role as the web.

FAQ

Questions salons ask

Do I need a computer at the counter?

No. The phone app does the till, bookings, customers, purchases and expenses, and prints to a Bluetooth receipt printer. A computer is useful for the owner's screens - commission rules, roles, settings - but a phone or tablet in a browser works for those too.

Which printers work?

Any ESC/POS receipt printer: Bluetooth ones from the phone (58 mm or 80 mm paper), and USB or network ones at the counter through the small print agent on the counter PC. Bills also open as PDF for any printer the phone can already print to.

Is GST handled?

Yes. Services carry a SAC and products an HSN; prices are tax-inclusive on the menu; every bill shows the CGST/SGST split; purchases record input tax; the GST report gives output against input for any period.

Can I run more than one branch?

Yes. Branches sit inside one company; each has its own staff, settings, printer and stock; the owner sees any branch or all of them on every report; stock moves between branches with a transfer.

How is stylist commission worked out?

Rules per service, category or retail - a percentage or a fixed amount, company-wide or per stylist, most specific wins - snapshotted on each bill line. Monthly slabs and targets with a bonus sit on top, and the statement per stylist shows what is earned, paid out and owed.

Where is my data, and who can see it?

Each company gets a SQL Server database of its own on our servers; no salon shares a table with another. Your owner and staff see what their roles allow. Our operators can block a company and check its database is reachable; they do not open your bills. See the privacy policy.

Can I bring my existing customers and menu?

Yes - send us a spreadsheet of customers (name, phone, birthday) and your service menu, and we load it into your company before you start.

What happens if I stop?

Your data stays for the tax retention period and you can export it at any time. Bills are tax records and are kept; personal data is removed on request from the Delete your account page.

Does it work without internet?

The app and the web need a connection to save a bill - the record is on the server, not on the phone. A phone's mobile data is enough; the app keeps the last screens it loaded while the connection is away and retries what did not reach the server.

How it is built

One company, one database

The owner registers once and opens a company. The moment they do, the software creates a database for that company on the server, builds the schema inside it, and records where it is in the catalog. Staff sign in with the company code, and every click they make runs inside that one database. Block a company and every branch stops on its next click.

  • Your data is only yoursNo other salon's bills or customers are in your tables. A mistake or a leak in one company cannot reach another.
  • Nothing to filter, nothing to forgetEvery query already runs inside your database - there is no "where company = you" that a bug could leave out.
  • Back up and restore one salonYour company is one database file. It can be backed up, restored to a date, or handed to you, without touching anyone else.
  • Speed stays yoursA busy chain running month-end reports does not slow your till - their work runs in their database, not in a shared one.
  • Move it where you wantThe catalog only records where the database lives, so a company can be moved to another server - or to your own - without changing the software.
  • Leave cleanlyWhen a salon stops, its database is deleted whole after the tax retention period. Nothing lingers in a shared table.
