Privacy policy
SizorPro is billing and appointment software for salons. It is used by the owner and staff of a salon on the web and in the SizorPro (Scissor) Android app. This page says what it collects, why, where it is kept, who can see it, and how to have it removed. Last updated 22 September 2026.
Who is responsible
The software is made and operated by Keycode Technology ("we"). Each salon that opens a company in SizorPro is the owner of the records it enters about its customers and staff; we hold that data on the salon's behalf. Write to keycodetechnology@gmail.com about anything on this page.

What the phone app asks the phone for
- Bluetooth (nearby devices) - only to send a bill to a receipt printer the phone is already paired with. The app never scans for devices, never reads other devices, and never uses Bluetooth for location.
- Camera and photos - only when a member of staff chooses to take or pick a picture for a product. Pictures are shrunk on the phone and stored in the salon's own database.
- Notifications - to show booking alerts. Optional; the app works without them.
The app does not collect location, contacts, call logs, SMS, or advertising identifiers. It contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Where it is kept
Every salon's records live in a database of its own on servers we operate; no salon's data is in a table with another's. Transport is over HTTPS. On the phone, only the sign-in tokens and the chosen printer are stored, in the Android Keystore; customer and bill data is fetched when needed and not copied to the phone's storage. Passwords are never stored in readable form.
Who can see it
The salon's own owner and staff, according to the rights the owner sets per role. Our operators can block a company, check that its database is reachable and read the error log; they do not open a salon's bills or customer book except at the salon's request to fix a problem. We do not sell, rent or share personal data with anyone else. If a salon turns on WhatsApp sending, booking confirmations go through Meta's WhatsApp Business API under the salon's own account, subject to Meta's terms.
How long it is kept
Bills, receipts and purchase records are tax records and are kept for as long as Indian GST law requires (currently six years from the end of the financial year). Bookings and customer records are kept while the salon's account is open. Push tokens are removed when the app signs out. Error log entries are kept for one year.
Your rights and how to delete your data
If you are a customer of a salon, ask the salon: they can remove your name, phone and notes from their customer book. If you are a member of staff or a salon owner, you can ask us directly on the Delete your account page - no sign-in is needed. Your login, phone, email and notes are removed within 30 days; bills that carry your name as the biller stay, as the law requires, with the name replaced by "former staff". A salon owner can also ask for the whole company, including its database, to be deleted once its tax retention period has passed.
Data safety summary (as declared on Google Play)
- Collected: name, email, phone number, user IDs (login), financial info (bills and payments handled by the salon), photos (product pictures), app info and performance (crash logs), device or other IDs (push token).
- Shared with third parties: none, except WhatsApp messages the salon chooses to send.
- Data is encrypted in transit. Users can request that their data be deleted.
- Not collected: location, contacts, messages, health, browsing history, advertising ID.
Children
The software is for businesses and their staff, not for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
